God’s Grace

Wednesday, February 15th, 2006

Praise God! It is by His grace that I was able to bring my
family to church last Sunday. Initially the plan was just to spend some time
with them. I planned that we will play bowling sa SM North-EDSA but then I
realized that I could actually invite them in my church. I was quite reluctant
fearing that my invitation will be turned down, particularly my father.

I agree with the prayer of my cell servant when he said that
it is not my intention to deceive them. Anyway, may mga nangyari pa na talagang
nangamba akong hindi makakasama pamilya ko. Late na sila umuwi nung Saturday
dahil sa Sabbath Service nila. Then para bang nakalimot sila na may fun time
kami kinabukasan. And wala pa rin ako sinasabi na may plano akong i-invite sila
sa church namin. It was already 10pm when I told my Mom my plan, syempre hindi
sa Dad ko dahil kinakabahan nga ako. Isa ko pang apprehension is that my
siblings are late risers. Kaya most of the time they come to their service
late. E ayaw ko naman ma-late sa service.

Di ako nakatulog kaagad dahil nanalangin talaga akong
makasama sila.

Nakakatuwa lang dahil nag-taxi kami all throughout.

kabuuang worship service. Actually, he agreed a lot doon sa mga ihinayag sa
pulpit.

After the service, we went straight to SM. Praise God dahil
This time di
nanggaling sa ibang tao ang panggastos namin.

We enjoyed yung fun time namin. We didn’t playDsc00013_1
bowling. We
played arcade games at billiards.

Please, continue to pray for my parents and siblings, that my parents will become true Christians and my brother Paul and my sister Tanya will become true followers of Jesus Christ.Dsc00009_1

How’s Your Sexual Purity?

How’s your sexual
purity?

Have you been struggling
with impure thoughts?

When was the last
time that someone asked you these questions?

When was the last
time you became honest with someone that you are struggling in these areas?

When was the last
time you sought accountability and discipleship in these areas?

You wouldn’t
expect me to ask these questions in a co-ed group. I still dared to post,
despite of my reluctance, these questions because I have the female members in
mind.

If you are burdened with these struggles,
regardless if you’re a guy or girl, heed what Haggai 1:5 says, “Now therefore,
thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways!” Again in Haggai 1:7,
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways!”

Ephesians 5:3 (NIV) says, “But among you
there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity…
because these are improper for God’s holy people.”

I am deeply burdened with the fact that
Christian guys and girls are falling in sexual immorality because they give in
to the temptation. This is a serious matter, brethren.

May we walk blameless before the Lord.
